A blog´s main objective is to express something you wanna share with other people, there are not many rules of what kind of info is adequate, cause the blog´s quality of being customizable.

Pre-Task

Read the tutorial, follow the instructions and create a personal blog with the minimum elements presented in the tutorial.

Write the steps you followed to create the blog.


Luis Eneider Benavides Muñoz: Steps:

1. Access Blogger: Visit the Blogger website (www.blogger.com) and click the "Create Your Blog" button to begin the creation process.

2. Sign in: Sign in with my Google account.

3. Create a new blog: In the Blogger control panel, I select the option "Create a new blog" and choose an attractive and relevant title for my blog.

4. Select a web address: I chose a unique and easy to remember web address for my blog. This will be the URL that readers will use to access my content.

5. Choosing a design: I explored Blogger's pre-designed templates and selected the one that best suited my needs and visual style. I was also able to customize the colors and layout of my blog.

6. Write a post: I clicked on "New Post" to start writing my first post. I wrote an attractive title and developed my little content in a clear and concise way.

7.Final:  I finally published my blog for now

  1. Sign up for a Google Account: To create a blog in Blogger, you need a Google Account. If you already have one, skip to the next step. Otherwise, visit the Google Account creation page (https://accounts.google.com/signup) and follow the instructions to create a new account.

  2. Go to Blogger: Once you have a Google Account, go to the Blogger website (https://www.blogger.com) and sign in using your Google Account credentials.

  3. Create a New Blog: After signing in, you'll be taken to the Blogger dashboard. On the left-hand side, click on the "New Blog" button. A pop-up window will appear.

  4. Set up Blog Title and Address: In the pop-up window, enter the title for your blog in the "Title" field. This is the name that will be displayed on your blog. Then, in the "Address" field, enter a unique URL for your blog. This URL will be the web address where your blog can be accessed (e.g., myblogname.blogspot.com). If the entered address is not available, you'll need to try a different one. Once you're satisfied with the title and address, click on the "Create blog!" button.

  5. Choose a Template: After creating your blog, you'll be redirected to the Blogger dashboard. To customize the look and layout of your blog, click on the "Theme" option in the left-hand menu. You can choose from the available templates or click on the "Customize" button to further modify the selected template.

  6. Customize Your Blog: The customization options in Blogger allow you to change the colors, fonts, layout, and other design elements of your blog. You can also add gadgets like a search bar, social media icons, or an About Me section. Explore the customization options to make your blog visually appealing and user-friendly.

  7. Create a New Blog Post: To start writing a blog post, click on the "Posts" option in the left-hand menu of the Blogger dashboard. Then click on the "New Post" button. A new page will open, where you can enter the title and content of your blog post. You can format the text, add images, embed videos, and perform other formatting tasks using the available toolbar.

  8. Publish and Preview: After finishing your blog post, you can click on the "Preview" button to see how it will appear to your readers. If you're satisfied with the preview, click on the "Publish" button to make your blog post live on the internet.

  9. Customize Settings: To further configure your blog's settings, click on the "Settings" option in the left-hand menu. Here, you can adjust various aspects like the blog's description, search preferences, comments settings, and more.

Explain what elements are in your opinion the most important and why.

For me the most important elements are:

1. Create a new blog: This step is essential, since you will establish the foundation of your blog by choosing a relevant and attractive title. The title should capture the attention of your readers and clearly reflect the main theme of your blog.


2. Write a post: Creating quality content is critical to attracting and keeping your readers. Writing interesting and well-structured posts will allow you to get your message across effectively and establish your authority on the topic.


3. Schedule or publish the post: You can choose whether you want to publish your post immediately or schedule it for a specific date and time, which allows you to manage and plan your posts according to your needs and schedule.

  • Create an account: This factor is essential considering that it gives you access to the entire Blogger platform and without it, you would not be able to publish the information you want to share.


  • Quality content and responsibility: sharing information with people entails a great responsibility in terms of how it is communicated and the veracity of the sources of information used to support it. Considering the influence you represent in the community, it's good to be objective. Also, the people who support the blog deserve to have well-organized and targeted content.

  • First and foremost, the most important thing for me is to choose the topic, as this is the essence of the blog and what will be conveyed to the blog's users.

  • Secondly, outline the design and have the information ready, as having this clarity allows for time optimization when bringing it to Blogger.

  • Create a new blog: This step is crucial as it lays the foundation for your blog. It involves defining the title, URL, and initial settings for your blog. Without creating a blog, you won't have a platform to share your content and engage with readers.


  • Start writing posts: Writing high-quality, engaging content is the primary purpose of a blog. This step involves creating and publishing posts that provide value to your readers. It's through your posts that you can showcase your expertise, share your thoughts, and connect with your audience.


  • Customize your blog's design: Customizing the design of your blog is essential for creating a visually appealing and unique experience for your readers. This step allows you to personalize your blog's layout, colors, fonts, and other design elements. A visually appealing blog can attract and retain readers, leaving a positive impression of your brand.

  • Create an Account: Creating an account is the initial step in establishing your presence on Blogger. It allows you to have a unique identity and access the necessary tools and features provided by the platform. Having an account enables you to manage your blog effectively, customize its appearance, track statistics, and interact with your audience.

  • Write a Post:Writing posts is the core activity of blogging. It allows you to share your thoughts, ideas, expertise, or experiences with your readers. Publishing high-quality posts is essential for attracting and retaining an audience. Engaging content can drive traffic to your blog, encourage reader interaction, and establish you as an authority in your niche.

  • Have Verified Information:When creating a blog, it's important to provide verified information about yourself or your organization. This helps establish credibility and trust with your audience. By including accurate and verified information, such as your name, contact details, and relevant background, you assure readers that your blog is authentic and reliable. Verifying information is particularly crucial if you plan to cover specific topics that require expertise or if you intend to build a brand or business around your blog. It demonstrates transparency and accountability, which are important factors in establishing a reputable online presence.
